With a wide selection of beers, spirits and wines to accompany our menu, The Dun Cow provides a relaxing environment at any time of the year. Open seven days a week, we have two restaurants and two beer gardens. One garden overlooks the Salthouse Marshes, the other is a secluded retreat reserved for adults. After a day's walking, cycling or bird-watching, you will find plenty of opportunity to relax. Families are welcome!
We are a traditional Country Pub incorporating part of what used to be a blacksmiths shop. The main feature is the double pitched roof with the central beam supporting a lead gully used for draining rain water. It should be noted that all the roof beams are original, and date from the 17th century. From the public bar and front garden there are stunning views over some of the finest fresh water marshes in the country.
We serve a selection of East Anglian brewed cask ales and our insulated cellar (the temperature of which is termostatically controlled) helps us to ensure the ales reach you in perfect condition.
We serve a selection of fine wines by the bottle from around the world. Our house wines are of exceptional standard and are available by the glass, either in 125ml, 175ml or 250ml measures, or by the bottle.

Across the courtyard we have two contained self-catering flags, ideal accommodation for short breaks and offer an excellent base from which to enjoy the local countryside and nature reserves.
